Community Clean Up Day

Gurley GAVE and the Gurley Lions Club are hosting a community clean up day! Join us Saturday, May 30th, 2026 from 9:00am-12:00pm to clean up the streets and alleys on the east side of town (trash and vegetation clean up). We'll meet in the Outlaws cafe parking lot (corner of 5th Street & Hwy 385).
West Side Clean Up will be scheduled at a later date!!
Other Information:
*Bring your own gloves, rakes, shovels, etc.
*Trash Bags will be provided, thanks to the Gurley Lions Club!
*A roll off will be available to all Gurley residents, location will be the shop next to the cafe. ROLL OFF Prohibited items include :Tires, batteries, paint, concrete, constitution materials, and household trash.
**There will be disposal available for tires, batteries, used oils, and paint. We just ask that you put them on the designated pallets.
*Scrap Metal Pick Up will be available. Please contact Gurley GAVE if you have items you'd like picked up.
*Scrapper will pick up appliances (except those containing freon), aluminum (only) wheels & tires, cars (payment for vehicles not available), bbq grills, and just about any other metal items. Mowers/power equipment, bicycles, most yard furniture, trampolines, car parts, batteries, aluminum cans, etc.

Panhandle Frontier Finds
June 5-7, 2026-Fri & Sat 9:00am-5:00pm, Sun 12:00pm-3:00pm
Gurley GAVE will have a booth at the Gurley Community Hall, along with many other vendors for Panhandle Frontier Finds! If you have items you'd like to sell we are willing to do it for you, all we ask in return is that you make a monetary donation to our organization. There will be so many vendors on this route!
